Darwin Award: Robber shoots self and wound clerk

This is the weirdest one.   Initially the police thought a robber and a hotel clerk traded gunfire.  The robber was shot in the head and killed the clerk is in critical condition with a shot to the abdomen.

BUT:  Now it seems there was only one gu, the robber's, and somehow he managed to accidentally fire it twice, once shooting the clerk and once himself.   Video camera confirms, but doesn't show a lot of detail.

The guy to the left of the robber was really paying attention, wasn't he?

Did you notice the gun ended up on the counter in front of where the bald, inattentive guy was?

This just shows how badly the educational system has failed our inner-city kids...  Sheesh!  How can you fail at armed robbery when YOU are the ONLY ONE ARMED?  Don't these kids learn anything in class?

It was a revolver yet.  How do you have that kind of accidental discharge with a revolver?

I remember the story about the kid who shot himself with a full auto UZI and see how that could happen...but a revolver?

If I were the clerk I'd be doubly pissed. "What do you mean he shot himself? Couldn't he have stayed home and done that"? ;D

Watch the dirtbag criminals family will want to sue the hotel and the clerk. (sarcasim) He frustrated this up standing individual and he accidently shot himself.
