A few years back we had a hunting buddy bring out a radar gun.

we clocked them up to 53 mph, the average was in the high 30s.

they are not that hard to hit, you just need to practice more.

Then again I have shot guns( yes with a s) with 100k plus rounds thru them    ;D
I always break all the clay pigeons,  some times its even with lead.

That case should last me bout all season, more than a couple per bird ain't good shooting.  Bag limit is 15, unless your with a bad shot, then you got to do some field math.  My limit plus your limit, minus my harvest, minus your crapping shooting.....

TAB, I gotta thing against popping them off power lines, so I might be a little over 13.  With that I may not be as good a shot in the field as you more experienced guys, that's nice for saying your all old as hell.

Then feel free to keep it to yourself, winkyface.  Good luck on the hunt tomorrow.

You try finding a woman who doesn't mind sharing a bed with a wet bird dog, being woken up at 2am so you can get to a duck blind or coming home to find the freezer stuffed with a dressed, delegged deer stuffed in a hefty bag because you were too beat to skin it until the next day. It might be easy in South Ga., but in a university town? Not so much. A man has to have priorities. ;D

You might be right.  ;D  ;D

Mine can handle all but the wet bird dog, so I guess I'll keep her.  :D

You spent too much time with all the pinko commies downtown...don't go for the ones handing out subversive communist newsletters.

Tomorrow is opening day here in southern Michigan for giant Canada geese. The limit is 5! I am looking forward to it.
When I lived in OK a state that allows dove hunting I had fun hunting them too. But, one giant Canada goose is twice as big as the limit on doves -- is the limit on doves still 14? It is going to be hot here tomorrow, but not as hot as it was in OK and TX.
Good luck on the itty bitty birds, and have fun.
