.556 is a half a millimeter - less than the diameter of a pin - or a 55.6 caliber, either one, it doesn't make any sense at all. I can't even guess at what you were trying to say.

Sorry it was a brain fart. What I was thinking of was the 5.7x28 used in the FN P90. Where sig and .556 materialized, I have no idea. The rest of the post stands though.
