Why Doesn't The CIA Assassinate The Wiki-Leaks Guy ?
« on: October 22, 2010, 06:11:43 PM »
This guy makes Ethyl And Julius Rosenberg look like Ward and June Cleaver. I can't believe we haven't popped him. Talk about a danger to our troops and national security! I know Hussein wouldn't go for it, but why don't they do it covertly? This guy can't be that hard to get to. Hell, we could even pay the Israelis to do it.  Bill T.

Maybe it's a mix of good and bad info and he's working with the CIA?
Anti: I think some of you gentleman would choose to apply a gun shaped remedy to any problem or potential problem that presented itself? Your reverance (sic) for firearms is maintained with an almost religious zeal. The mind boggles! it really does...

Me: Naw, we just apply a gun-shaped remedy to those extreme life threatening situations that call for it. All the less urgent problems we're willing to discuss.

Yes, remember Geraldo on his knee diagramming how US troops would enter Baghdad. When they did enter the city it was from pretty much every where except where he said.
On the other hand, maybe this guy just follows really good personal security routines, they still haven't gotten Phillip Agee yet and he was responsible for the deaths of  2 CIA Station Chiefs.

We're the "Good Guys" and don't officially assasinate anybody ;D ;D ;D

He's probably so deep he gets light pumped in once a week by truck.
When seconds mean the difference between life and death, the police will be minutes away.

You are either SOLVING the problem, or you ARE the problem.

I seem to remember a conspiracy thread on board much like this one...........
What seperates us from the rest of the world is that we don't have "Prior Restraint". You can publish what you want. The leaker can go to jail forever, but you can publsh it. Call me contrarian, but I'm glad. The day you shut down a news paper/website by saying it leaked "classified information" is the day the government is no longer accountable to us peons.

The leaker can go to jail forever.  FQ13

But first he would have to be captured, extradited, tried, and convicted. That could take years and cost tens of millions of taxpayer dollars. More if Hussein's administration handled it. Holder could spend ten million on investigating the investigation. .308 averages less than a buck fifty a round at Cabela's.   Bill T.

Is that the same as what you said about Scooter Libby, Karl Rove and GW Bush ?

Actually, it pretty much was. Burning Plame was (arguably) a crime. Publishing the details wasn't.

Even though Armitage was the Plame "leaker"....Libby got burned,.....Armitage got "nada"....Plame wrote a book, even though she was just a desk jockey and made a fortune,....

I think "someone" made an attempt at a sex assault charge with this Assage clown with the first round of doc's leaked.....

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."

TW, from my reading over a long period it is my understanding that Richard Armitage was one of the "good guys" at State.
He was a major figure in our counter terror programs long before it was "cool"
He was the one who called the President of Pakistan on Sept. 12 and told him he was either with us or was going to be bombed back to the stone age, asked what he meant by "stone age" he replied, "you know the Flintstones ? Like that, with out the modern conveniences".

More here,
