Guns are a total no win situation for the democrats. Any democrats. They have absolutely nothing to win and a lot to lose by going after them. The only people they will appease with gun control are the people who already vote for them. The minorities could care less about it, and the conservatives hate it. They are in desperate need of votes. They are losing them left and right. They've already lost the independents and a lot of women. Even the hispanics are not so fond of the dems any longer. Sure they would come back into the fold if amnesty was passed, but that is simply not going to happen. If it did I think this nation would break out into civil war. Citizens have had enough of government doing what they don't want.  Bill T.

While I agree that it won't pass I'm betting they try it. Just so they can say "We wanted to help you but those evil, raciest Republicans stopped us."  That way they get them to continue voting "D".

I agree to a point with some of the thoughts here.  I see them going for immigration and anything green openly, because they will survive those battles on the political correct platform.

However, I do see them doing a covert attack on the Second Amendment.  Watch things like the Obamacare bill where they can hide it in 2,000 pages of legaleze that no one reads until it is too late, or the end around United Nations.

I for one want us to stay strong and fight any attempt to take our Rights away on any level!

Don't any of you see that the "evil Republicans" CAN"T stop them until they are sworn in.
 These Dems ARE GOING HOME. "Survival is no longer an issue, they didn't. they can either go back to their previous BS job, or they can get appointed a director of something like the Joyce foundation and make big bucks.
Carol Shea Porter (mine    ) is a perfect example,
She's gone, she can either return to making cookies for the School bake sale in Rochester NH, or she can get hired by some NY or DC consulting firm if she is a good girl and follows orders.
