I guess the Old fart was a closet fan, though he always seemed more partial to historical fiction than sci-fi.  ;D I thought it was homespun Southern wisdom. Still, its good advice.

I still say issue the the honor guard live ammunition and fixed bayonets - would solve this particular problem

Perhaps as part of the funeral service they could arrange for a fire engine escort... which just might turn it's hose on protesters at the conclusion of the service.

I got a better idea... why don't we have some one make some bible study DVDs, only in the middle of them have them insert most depraved gay porn out there and send them too them.
