I know it's late in the day but I was wondering if anyone was going to  mention what day it is.

Thanks Tab, Pecos

I've never been there, but a friend of mine visited a couple of years back. He said you can still see rainbow patterns on the water every few minutes from oil that is still leaking from the ship.  Bill T.

that's the closest I've been. unfortunately every time I go it's with the same chief engineer. he won't let us out until the memorial is closed. (dickhead) he does this out of spite I think as he will let the QMEDs go all day, but cornhole the engineers. (he wants the QMEDs to be his friends. he doesn't have many). maybe next time.

I'm not much of a sailor Deepwater. But I do know two things about the Pacific Ocean. It is both very wide, and very deep. ;)

I would be the first one they look at as I don't take any bs from him and have been known to plumb bob him in front of others. actually, I've done that with him, the first mate, and the captain. yeah, there wouldn't be any doubt in anybody's mind who would do that. sawed off little prick.
