As a resident of NJ, I can assure you that Chris Christie is no conservative. He appointed a rabidly anti-gun liberal Attorney General, Paula Dow, who has in the past 10 months removed CMP direct sales, added the new Auto Ordinance M1 Carbine to our AWB list, and banned the new I.O. AK clone (http://www.ioinc.us). He is also redistributing wealth in NJ by taking tax money from the suburbs and funneling it into the big cities.
He isn’t all bad. It’s entertaining to watch Christie take on the unions, especially the teachers’ union, the NJEA (New Jersey Extortion Association, er, I mean, Education Association), and he’s definitely better than Jon “One Gun A Month” Corzine would have been. Unfortunately for Christie, the rest of the country will figure out that he’s just a RINO.

This is exactly the kind of information we need shared on the board.  This is decision making information and the sooner we have it the sooner we can formulate an informed opinion and the sooner we can influence others.  Sooner is better than later.

One other thing we need....SHOOTING GALLERY hoodies.  Michael, is it better to seek permission or ask forgiveness?

Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom.
It is the argument of tyrants; it is the creed of slaves.

Glad I could help.  The problem with most NJ Republicans is that very few of them are actually conservative (there are a few, but they're like $2 bills, rare).  NJ has one of the most f'd up school funding formulas in the country, thanks to a liberal state supreme court, and Christie stepped in and made it worse.  He appointed a super liberal AG and we are signed up for a "cap and trade" scheme with a couple other states in the northeast, and he refuses to join other states in the lawsuit against Obamacare.  He has, in the past, supported the NJ AWB as well.

I think Christie realizes that he has to show more conservative leanings if he has national political ambitions.  The rest of the country sees him standing up to the NJ teachers' union, and that's a good thing, but that's about the only conservative thing the guy's done since taking office in January.

Yes I have, its been the same info I've heard.

There are still a bunch of Qs that need to be asked.

why was the car searched?  He had to say something for that to happen.

If the info is correct, the judge did F up royal... should be a slam dunk on appeal.

Listen to it again as you obviously missed parts of it.
