Just thinking while making out my Christmas list....what is a firearm that was never made, but you wish you owned?....

My choice....a Thompson SMG in .38Super...with a 60-rd drum magazine....  8)

Wish away!.....  ;D

A "Low-Cost, Affordable," Barrett 50BMG. ::)

Or a .41 Magnum, Semi-Auto. :o

That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."

One of the first gun mags I subscribed to was "Guns and Ammo" maaaaaaany years ago!  In one issue was an article about an individual that was making a .44 mag. semi auto named the "Mag Matic".  It predated the Auto Mag and was smaller and seemed to me after reading about the AM would have been easier and cheaper to make.  Probably would have worked out if he could have found funding and would have been easy to make in .41, 10mm or whatever.  Don't know what happened to my original copy but was able to find a replacement at a GS...pull it out and re-read it every once and a while.

.75 caliber recoilless pistol. It was in a science fiction story.
""It may be laid down as a primary position, and the basis of our system, that every Citizen who enjoys the protection of a free Government, owes not only a proportion of his property, but even his personal services to the defence of it, and consequently that the Citizens of America (with a few legal and official exceptions) from 18 to 50 Years of Age should be borne on the Militia Rolls, provided with uniform Arms, and so far accustomed to the use of them, that the Total strength of the Country might be called forth at a Short Notice on any very interesting Emergency." - George Washington. Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't the Dessert Eagle made in 41? Seems I remember it was on the Mk. XIX frame?
