beleave it or not its illegal to video tape security procedures.  more so if its in a "employees only" area.  Posting it on youtube was a bad idea. I'd not be shocked if he lost his job over this.  rather its direct termanation or indirect.

While you are correct, you (and apparently the government) are forgetting the concept of "presumption of innocence".  He has been CONVICTED of no crime, yet they have pulled his CCW pending the outcome of the investigation?  That sounds a lot like guilty unless proven innocent to me.  NOT what the Founding Fathers had in mind.

Sounds more like retribution against a "Whistle blower".
Typical elitist reaction. Don't address your failings, destroy the person who points them out.
And of course the sheep will bleat their approval.

as I said its SOP just about every where.  your duty gun gets yanked, you lose your ccw as well.

like it or not thats they way it goes.

Duty gun = Federal in this case

CCW = STATE permit (issued by the County Sheriff)

This case bears NO resemblance to the normal type situation you cite.

Further, I'd appreciate it if you would provide some kind of backup for your statement about the correlation between loss of duty gun and loss of CCW.  I'm sick to death of shit being tossed out as fact without ANY kind of reliable information to back it up other than an opinion or assumption.

Call up your local PD and ask them what thier policy is,  its very hard to find that type of stuff on line.

in CA, you are required to hand over your permit and your gun if asked by a LEO.  you don't have to tell them you have a CCW, but you do have to hand it over if they ask.

Depending on rahter it was yolo or placer county, the fact that he had a federal duty gun may have been the only reason he got the CCW.

We don't know if his ccw was surrendered, suspended or revoked.

I'm guessing its the 1st or 2nd.

Sorry dude, but when you throw out shit like that the burden of proof is on YOU.  I'm not doing the legwork to prove your contention.

I've got much better things do to do then try to find something that is most likly not online.  you will find most places don't make thier employment policy public.

I'd also not be shocked if it was part of the law that lets LEOs carry in all 50 states.

you can either take what I've said at face value, look it up yourself or not.  its up too you.

TAB, That attitude robs your posts of all credibility.
You have been asked to show some references to support your claim and either can't or won't.
Anything else you post on this topic, until you do, is nothing but wasted space.
You made the statement, the burden to prove it is on you.

I am the new Emperor of The United States of America.  All federal income taxes should be sent direct to me in the form of a personal check made out to me.  I don't have time to be (or wont be bothered with) providing evidence.  Take my word for it.  It's not on the internet so you'll have to call the office of the new Emperor to verify it.

Or something like that.

Back on topic:  If his CCW was conditional on his flight duties and driven by federal authority, then maybe it is justifiable since the feds confiscated his federally issued firearm.  Otherwise, WTF?
