2011, your plans, dreams, wishes
« on: January 01, 2011, 05:05:40 PM »
well we had a crappy 2010  with the Mrs health issues and then issues with her job

so she starts a new job on the 4th :)

I am starting to look for a new job ( just seeing what is out there )

shooting wise
going to be in a few larger competitions this year, Schutzenfest in a couple of weeks ( Haz and Rabbit you would love it,  Shooting then Beers )    got the combined services Nationals  in October

if I can convince the Mrs  a new gun or 2 ( been told I have enough all ready but I need to get a 1911 )

also need to get out and hunt a lot more than not going at all last year :(

so we are hoping that 2011 will be a lot better for us :)

how about your selves,  what are you hoping to do in 2011
Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. The only thing you can’t do is ignore them

Build my first AR, which is underway.  Upgrade some windows and doors at my house. Stay busy at work. Get into some competitive pistol shooting, keep my wife happy (easier said than done),.. :P  Teach my son to drive, not like my ex-wife,...

Stay healthy, and pray this country holds together until BHO can get voted out.

Hope for the best, plan for the worst.

Good luck, and good shooting philw, yes,.....get a 1911...(once you have one, well,... ::))

Tell the Mrs. All the best on the new job.

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."

Stay healthy, keep this job or grow it into something bigger. Get more ammo (esp. 9mm - see Son and Uzi thread!) and an RFB.

Mostly, lose some weight and get gun training

2010 was our worst year in our lives. We didn't do anything special on NYE, but at midnight we yelled and screamed and set off some m80s. (I wasn't so drunk that I got out a gun)- celegrating that 2011 has arrived.

We are hoping to get off of the precipice of disaster, to stay healthy, to help my son find work (smart kid w/ degree in biz finance & good looking--ANYBODY? HELP?0)
We're hoping that I keep working in day gig and music, that Maggie's real estate starts taking off again, and that we can help some other folks with greater need than our own.

AND...we hope to get ahead enough to maybe travel around and meet some of you fine folks.

Happy New year to all.
I got the blues as my companion.

2010 started out shitty, but got better toward the end. Just hoping things continue to get better, my son who is graduating listens and makes good life decisions(better that his dad did ::) ) ,and all my friends at DRTV have a better year also.

Get a instructor certification, find a better job and participate in more competitions...  ;D

The reality sets in. Find a better career, keep my head above water and stay supportive of family and friends.

Stay healthy. Get our A/C system renewed and upgraded this spring. Pray the country and economy hold together until we can get rid of Hussein, and as many liberals as possible in the next election. Job has been good, so I can only hope it continues for another year. It's just too dicey to hope for much beyond that.   Bill T.
