Has anyone played with one of the 327 fed. rugers yet?

Not yet. As a persone who likes the 32 H&R (I have 4) I will eventually get one. I suspect that about 2 dozen other people will as well and that will be it.

I have a couple as well. I was looking at it as a potential carry piece since my wrists seem to be developing some arthritis problems. The ballistics on Federals web site seem to be pretty impressive for a 32

An alternative for you might be an SP101 38 Special using 110 grain standard velocity hollowpoints. They should be pretty tame out of the SP.

Or buy a small frame 22 and do all your practice with that and use +P ammo in your carry gun. Not likely you would notice the recoil in a gunfight with a BG. I have one of the aluminum J's in model 317 that I use for DA carry practice. Or the snubbie Taurus 22 would work as an understudy gun.
