"It's so adorable when people who wouldn't know a high-capacity magazine from Vanity Fair start telling gun owners what they should want and need."

Leave it to a skinny Conservative blonde to get Lib boxers in a bunch, ................AGAIN... ;D

I love the way Coulter, Palin, and Bachman, can just get all the grasseaters whining.

Malkin does the same thing..... ::)

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
Col. Jeff Cooper.

Based upon the rest of the article's content, I can overlook the c-word this time.

BTW, Haz, next time you should magazine your toenails before posting gun pics.  ;D
I love waking up every morning knowing that Donald Trump is President!!

I noticed the "c word" also.

I'm not sure if Ann Coulter is a "gun person" or if she simply defends gun ownership and the 2A.

In either case, I'd give her a pass for carrying the fight.

Not happy about this either

On the other hand, for a homeowner who is a poor marksman, a large-capacity clip could be a lifesaver.

Is she saying spray & pray is acceptable?

I didn't see it as saying it was acceptable, simply that if the homeowner wasn't capable of taking down multiple home invaders with only 10 rounds, the large capacity magazine would be a life saver.

I think her point (though not very well articulated) was that there ARE legitimate reasons for regular folks to have large capacity magazines, in spite of what the democrat gun experts say.

Geez Haz, Give her a break. She's not putting herself forward as some sort of "gun Guru". That isn't her job.
Her business is to start the education of the uninformed, and refute the lies of the anti's.
As for the other comment you didn't like, the average home owner doesn't spend a lot of time practicing, the idea that if they can not shoot like Annie Oakley they are not out of the game offers a lot of comfort.
And don't come back with that BS about "they should practice". Yes they should, but most will not, they will buy a pistol, try it out once or twice, then put it in the night stand until that one time they need it.
