Damn it twyacht!  We sent you over to Haz's house to straighten him out and now we need to do a "bare toe" intervention on you!

What's next?  If we let you spend an evening with M'ette will we have to endure neked pictures of you in the fountain?

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
Col. Jeff Cooper.

I tried the G26, the SA XD9 SC and the M&P9 SC with an eye on buying one of them.  The M&P beat my hand to death in less than 50 rds!  That being said...I tried the standard M&P9 and loved it.  Hope to sell something and buy one.

My first encounter with these was at the NRA show when they were initially launched.  Was very impressed by the grip then...but I didn't do anything about it.  My brother bought a full size M&P9 last year as his first gun and I shot it last Thanksgiving.  It felt absolutely wonderful in the hand and I couldn't miss with the silly thing.  Yet I still bought the SR9c.

Now that I own this, I remember why I liked this series so much each time I picked them up.  If this gun performs, I may have to buy a few more.  The 45 is supposed to be very nice also.
I picked up the full size but I like it so much I might pick up the 9c too!!
"Firearms stand next in importance to the Constitution itself. They are the American people's liberty, teeth and keystone under independence. The church, the plow, the prairie wagon and citizens' firearms are indelibly related. From the hour the pilgrims landed to the present day, events, occurrences and tendencies prove that, to ensure peace, security and happiness, the rifle and pistol are equally indispensable. Every corner of this land knows firearms, and more than 99 and 99/100 percent of them by their silence indicate that they are in safe and sane hands. The very atmosphere of firearms anywhere and everywhere restrains evil influence. They deserve a place of honor with all that's good. When firearms go, all goes. We need them every hour."
