My church (Methodist) rents out several rooms to the local school district for a computer program for kids who have trouble in regular class situations so they have posted the dreaded no gun sign.  I told our minister that I understand why...but disagreed with it.  He hadn't even noticed the sign.  I have to attend a meeting in the evening during the week and will probably carry and not tell anyone!  Might carry on Sunday also.  Could get in trouble but...

PS:  The MC has been anti for a ton of years.  Even adding stuff at their General Conference about CCB and Invisible (X-ray proof)Plastic Guns

I find myself in a similar situation.  There are no signs posted at my (Catholic) church, but inasmuch as the Catholic grade school is attached to, and uses portions of, the church, it falls under the Iowa prohibition on carrying on the grounds of a primary or secondary school.

Much as I hate it, I must rely on the power of prayer for Divine protection when I attend Mass.
I love waking up every morning knowing that Donald Trump is President!!
