Nephew in Afghanistan

Just got word that our nephew in Afghanistan is in surgury. He was doing MP duties and was run over by a truck (we think it was one of ours). He's got injuries to his upper legs and pelvis. A good kid with just a few months left in his tour.
I got the blues as my companion.

Just got word he's out of surgery. He's got pins and screws all through the upper end of his femurs, got a "T" of some kind in his pelvis. Some serious ligament damage, BUT he's got both legs and that's good. We'll find out more soon.

This is terrible, but seeing as how his unit lost a few guys just days ago, it just might mean he gets to come home alive.
