Haz is right, liberal white guilt is exactly what this regime has played on since it's inception. It has nothing to do with Bush, and never did. This is about people voting for BHO for no other reason than they were afraid to be called a racist if they didn't.

You do have to admit that MOST rep. voters are far better informed on candidates and issues than MOST dems. This is why the regime sought to demonize any who opposed BHO on agenda by calling them a racist.

Gentlemen, lets leave ideology at the door, the record is clear. W., as Tx Governor was head cheerleader for Nafta (GHWB and Clinton as well, as I said, ideology aside). Its not about belief, its about money for the GOP who get funded by the Chamber of Comerce, and about racial votes on the part of the Dems who want the latinos sewed up just as tight as they have the blacks sewed up. I'm just calling a spade a spade. W denounced prop 187 in California and announced Texas was open for business with Mexico. He could have rolled back NAFTA, but he didn't. Clinton did it for votes, W did it for money, and both parties sell us out. If that offends, too bad, because its the damned truth. Ross was right and I was wrong. Free trade is not always the best answer.

That's what really blows my mind about this! He is so beholden to the unions, and he turns around and does something like this? Isn't this like slitting your own throat? And after all his grandstanding with the Wisconsin union fiasco.

I don't know for sure but it would not surprise me if these Mexican unions are completely or partly controlled by Big Labor here in the U.S.....So it would be the national and international leaders of these unions in the states that would be selling their members out....

Mexican "Unions" are a whole other subject. Mexico under the PRI (the ruling party for decades) were a bought and paid for part of the government. Any independent labor leader got a choice of "plato o plomo" (silver or lead). In the '90s and beyond, post PRI, who knows what Mexican unions want? I have no idea if they are truly independent or not, just don't compare them too closey to the American model as the former government owned them, not the other way aroud.

It doesn't matter who pushed for, allowed or signed accords like NAFTA.  NAFTA and many other acts like it are in direct response to the demands of 90% of us dumbshits that don't care about our neighbors and are to short sighted to realize it will all come back to bite us.  It is the answer to the 90% that worship the WalMart model of cheap cheap cheap at all costs.

It is the same mentality that demands cheap China made crap, that screams when we find out that China abuses its citizens, pollutes and ships us poison that we have banned in products and toys generations ago, but goes right back to WalMart to save another dime on the same crap.

The citizens of the United States have demanded this, our leaders from both sides have given it to us, and now we are crying because we can't find jobs and are losing more every day.  Sometimes we are so busy looking over our shoulder before we bend over in the shower that we forget our biggest fear is right in the mirror.
