The Brits must have one hell of a marksmanship training program given that most of their recruits have probably never fired a gun, much less gone hunting, in their lives.

Plus side to that is they have no bad habits to break.
It's always easier to learn it correctly the first time.
You can say lots of bad things about pedophiles; but at least they drive slowly past schools.

It seems that the Brits send over their best team of snipers to enter a contest that is put on once a year called the best sniper. If my memory serves me right, U.S. Army, and USMC teams usually take that trophy.

I just finished reading a book called "Sniper One" by Sgt. Dan Mills 1st BN Prince of Whales Royal Regiment about his sniper platoon's tour in Iraq. Awesome read for sniper buffs. I highly recommend it. Not very eloquent, but he's a sniper, not a professional writer.
