Yes, it sucks. Looks like my next purchase may be something other than a Glock. Have my eyes set on another AR-15... :)

Cabela's runs a lot of Glock sales as well. Sometimes if you catch it right you can double up. They'll offer $50.00 off any model Glock in the store, (they stock most all the models), then they will send out additional $50.00 off coupons on purchases of $200.00 or more. Melanie used this tactic when she bought me a Beretta 92 FS there a couple of years ago. Wound up getting $100.00 off.

I stay away from using a Cabela's credit card with their stupid "points". I had a lot of problems with them sneaking in finance charges, even if you paid the bill the day you got it. That whole routine falls under the, "You don't get something for nothing", header. IMHO Cabela's "points" are a come on. They wouldn't be doing it if they weren't making money on it. They are also their own bank, which is why they push their credit card so much. If you watch for the sales, and go in there armed with cash, you'll do OK.   Bill T.

BAC, Glock did not renew their contract with OMB which led me to trying to find another dealer. Really liked the folks at OMB and got my G30SF in just two days. Wanted a G35 at first and they were out, other than the OD Green and I did not want one of them. (Funny how everyone is trying to snatch them up lately since they are discontinued.)
They also have done away with the certificate program and you have to use your GSSF Card to make the purchase.
I have still not heard back from Glock Inc.  ???

I just read in The Glock Report that they're changing the purchase program effective May 1.  Now you need to be an annual member for at least a year before you're allowed to participate in the purchase program.  They are going to have 2 membership cards:  1 for the club and 1 for purchase.  New multi-year members will get the dual-card membership right away.

I guess too many people joined for one year just to get the discount (like me).  Too bad I probably won't be in a financial situation that would allow me to purchase before May 1.  Looks like that was money down the drain.  Didn't even get a hat.   :(

If you were a GSSF member prior than May 1 you will be grandfathered in. There is a ton of discussion on this topic on Glocktalk.

I am not happy I cannot find a dealer to make another purchase.

Good idea billt. Unfortunately we do not have a Cabella's in our area.  :(

I called GSSF and they told me the same thing.  You just need to call them to get a purchase card.
