Sledge, with your barbaric gun laws, I would reccomend going old school. Try a Le Matt revolver. It was a nine shot with a twenty gauge in the middle. Black powder percussion cap from our Civil War, but I sure woudn't want to face one. They used to be cheap, around $500 US from Cabelas. They've gone up, but for the ultimate oddball HD revolver? You'd be hard pressed to beat one.
