You're only saving $10 over pyramid and losing the Butler Creek flip scope covers. Is it worth it?

The covers actually get put in the box by Bushnell, not everybody advertises it.  But their useless on this model anyway.  Adjustable objective.

I've got those covers on a few scopes.  I've found that especially if you ever carry the gun in the woods, I like "Scope coats" more.  I leave it on if its raining or dew is dripping outta trees or anything until it's actually time to shoot.  Pulling it off is just a fraction quicker than fumbeling with the caps for me.  Feels much less "trinkety", and does a better job by protecting the whole scope IMO to. 

The flip up caps do LOOK cooler on any gun, and are more fun to play with.  But...

Matter of preferance I guess.     I've dropped a Scope Coat in the mud while shooting before to.   

Always a comprimise.
