This is nothing more than an attempt by one person representing a certain party to continue the runaway redistribution of wealth through the use of class warfare.
If you read the Star Tribune and the reader comments you will find a very strong belief that the "rich" and "wealthy" are not paying their fair share, and that it is only 2% of Minnesotans. Apparently it is ok to take from a group if they are only a small percentage of the population - What if that had been the thought about race in the last half of the 19th century and first half of the 20th century?
Maybe I pointed this out earlier, but here it is again: Rather than continuing to work on the problem the first week of July, Gov. Dayton decided to shut the lights off, send the legislators home, and then run a media campaign to get voters to go and whine and beg for our spending to increase another 10% and to raise taxes on many.
