I just don't understand the underlying fear people have about these state governments running out of money and shutting down? To me it's a Godsend. They try to use scare tactics that checks won't go out and the cops will stay home, along with all of the other crap. Let them. When it all falls on deaf ears perhaps then they'll get the picture. Until then let these worthless bureaucrats starve. If they're hungry they can do like the rest of America and go out and get real jobs.

It would just break my heart to see some ass hat earning a six figure government salary run out of money and lose his house. People need to realize the only way you will ever get government under control is by financial force. They will never "vote" for it. Starve them out of office and they'll get the picture.  Bill T.

This is nothing more than an attempt by one person representing a certain party to continue the runaway redistribution of wealth through the use of class warfare.

If you read the Star Tribune and the reader comments you will find a very strong belief that the "rich" and "wealthy" are not paying their fair share, and that it is only 2% of Minnesotans.  Apparently it is ok to take from a group if they are only a small percentage of the population - What if that had been the thought about race in the last half of the 19th century and first half of the 20th century?

Maybe I pointed this out earlier, but here it is again:  Rather than continuing to work on the problem the first week of July, Gov. Dayton decided to shut the lights off, send the legislators home, and then run a media campaign to get voters to go and whine and beg for our spending to increase another 10% and to raise taxes on many.
If I appear taller than other men it is because I am standing on the shoulders of others.
