When I was in the Army, we ran a background check for a security clearance on a fellow.

The report came back and  the item of most note is that he had 9 girls from his high school pregnant at the same time, two of them sisters.  He was 20 and had graduated a year or two before he joined the Army.

I imagine joining the Army was the quickest and cheapest way to get as far out of town as possible.

I imagine he needed the free room and board as I suspect that his paycheck was consumed by child support payments.
