Two points. First, someone here mentioned that people are lulled into a false sense of security. You see it ALL THE TIME and not just in Philly. One of my wife's relatives owns a rental property in Philly. A 20 year old woman who lived in one apartment was raped and murdered outside her apartment when she rode her bike home from work at 10 pm.  DUH! Don't ride a friggin' bike at night in Philly if you're a young woman. THAT is stupid.
And this old fella- God bless him and I hope he's ok, but NO ONE walks in Philly parks without a big dog, a gun, or a death wish. Come on! If he resumes his activity unarmed he's BEGGING to be asaulted again. People don't understand that criminals and assholes don't respect their rights.

Third...Geezer beating probably does pass as a sport in philly now since the Phils melted down and the Eagles suck.
