In the early 1990's, the band Pearl Jam had a song called Jeremy and an accompanying video:

The band Filter has a song called "Hey, man, Nice Shot":

it is about the Bud Dwyer incident.  If you don't know what that is about, then search for Bud Dwyer too, on YouTube.  I didn't put a link to the Bud Dwyer incident video for a reason.  You've been warned.

Now, onto more serious stuff....

a few years back, at least 5 years really, I swear I saw a blurb in one of the NRA periodicals about how the Clinton administration was giving or had given tax breaks to the company that produced the TV show ER when they made an anti-gun episode.

Anyone else remember seeing that or reading that?

I would be curious if Obama's administration is continuing the same tax breaks to TV shows or TV channels???

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
