http://www.bostonherald.com/news/regional/view.bg?articleid=1381417&srvc=rssThe FBI is asking for the public’s help to find a most wanted animal-rights activist accused of bombing two buildings in the San Francisco area.
Daniel Andreas San Diego, 33, has been on the run since 2003, when the bombs exploded at an Emeryville biotechnology corporation and a nutritional products corporation. The FBI placed him on the “Most Wanted Terrorist” list in 2009.
San Diego has ties to animal rights groups and targeted the buildings because the companies there tested products on animals, according to the FBI.
The agency is holding a press conference in Springfield today to ask for information about the fugitive. There is a $250,000 reward for any information leading to his arrest.
The Berkeley-born man has three tattoos, including one that shows “burning and collapsing buildings on the sides of his abdomen and back,” according to information on the FBI website. San Diego is a vegan sailor, the FBI says, who has worked as a computer network specialist and has possession of a handgun.
