Bureaucrats Gone Wild

Special Interests... Exposed.
This is a good video on the bloated and overpaid government workforce.

I especially like how he understands that the problem is the size of government, and I also admire his recognition that Republicans often are just as bad as Democrats.

He also highlights the danger of creating a society where a majority of people are moochers instead of producers.




 Here is another great video on the topic of costly and excessive bureaucracy.

Actually, I don’t care which video you prefer, so long as you are outraged by the fact that federal bureaucrats get twice as much compensation as people in the productive sector of the economy.

I graduated from HS a looooong time ago!  I talked with a girl I graduated with and she mentioned that she went to work for the CIA (I believe) shortly after graduation.  She was almost ashamed to tell us that there were four girls working in her office...all on a special machine which she would not elaborate on!  Only problem....there was only ONE of these machines for four girls!!!!!  They had to share, which isn't cost effective, but neither is buying $500 toilet seats!

Sounds like she is working at our version of the Sparrow School. The secret machine? Could it be one of these perhaps, guaranteed to elicit a confession? Sorry, I really couldn't help it. I just got this visual of Dr. Evil and Sean Connery clinking glasses from the observation platform while Agent 99 asked whether this "training" was really necessary. ;D ;D ;D

I've posted the excerpt from one of Douglas Adams' Hitchhiker series books about voting for Lizards a few times before as has FQ.

The Republican and Democratic parties are both full of Lizards but we people keep voting for them because we don't want the wrong Lizard to get elected.

Well, in a normal political environment I abide by that wisdom and don't vote R or D but this is not normal.  ANY Lizard or pet dog that has the best chance of beating the incumbent Lizard needs all the votes that can be mustered. Sad to say, Ron Paul is not that puppy.
