A fate worse than a BO reelection...
« on: December 03, 2011, 07:29:52 PM »
Considering the GOP field as of this date (12/3/2011) the only real, credible alternative to BO is Ron Paul; but you knew that already.  ;)

If Ron Paul does not get the nomination, the only two serious challengers remaining are Romney and Gingrich. If either of them are elected, I will say this now: they are a worse reality than BO. BO is bad but either of these two would represent a tragic shift toward a totalitarian state.

I will never vote for BO and I will never vote for Romney or Gingrich either. I am reading a few books about/by Barry Goldwater. He mentions in one that conservatives should be seeking ways to maximize freedom. The only candidate really doing that is Ron Paul and Romney or Gingrich are trying to maximize the power of the state.

Here are my preferences:
i. Jesus
1. Ron Paul
1A. George Washington
2. Ronald Regan
3. Ike
4. Herman Cain
5. Sanatorium
6. Michelle Bachman
7. Romney
8. Jon Huntsman
9. Satan/Lucifer/Baphomet/Gingrich

I'm sorry there is no fate worse than BO getting reelected.  If that happens, Katy bar the door.  We are DOOMED!  and we'll have RP supporters to vent our frustration on  8)

In 1992, the Republicans brought a weak candidate and blamed it on Perot.  It seems the solution would be to bring a good candidate, but that's just me.

I didn't want your ZZ Top reference to go unnoticed. My band is very proud of our ability to do a sweet job with that medley.
I got the blues as my companion.

I agree fullautovalmet.  I do believe that we would be much better off with 4 more years of Barry Soetoro than a first term of Gingrich the NWO waterboy or Romney the greasy used car salesman.  Barry is politically weak, and I believe he would remain so throughout a lame duck term largely due to the economy, which won't improve, and other issues such as Fast and Furious blowing up in his face.  Alternatively, if someone like Gingrich were elected, he would come in with a "mandate" to perpetuate and worsen the policies of Barry, who perpetuated and worsened the policies of GW Bush.  And there would, of course, be a throng of phony "conservatives" that have been voluntarily baffled by their subscription to the false left/right paradigm who would jump and down cheering as Gingrich further propelled us into totalitarianism.  This would be the same crowd of idiots who would vehemently disapprove if the guy from the other team did the exact same thing.

It comes down to this:  if the R party nominates anyone other than Ron Paul, then Barry will be re-elected.

That's the kind of "intelligence" that Ron Paul has been counting on for the last 23 years.
You complain about Gingrich as " the NWO waterboy " right after saying we would be better off with the Nanny state Poster boy ?
Do you ever actually think before posting this sort of foolishness ?

There's no fullautovalmet76 listed anymore either.
