I think the thing that ticks me off the most is the stupid scumbag put her in the position to grieve over this for the rest of her life.. She didn't deserve to have to live with this, but by God, live she did, today...

All this touchy feely emotional shit makes me want to puke.
Why not cry over taking out the garbage.
She ought to be psyched by the fact that she's still alive.
Anything the scumbag got he deserved.
Hey America, Grow a pair.

You're preaching to the choir but do you think she needs to grow a set? Go tell her so. That old lady is nearly 70 years old. She didn't need that shit. She did fine, but she'll lose alot of sleep over it.
I don't give a f..k all about the perp. I feel bad for the lady. That's my point. (Or should we go slap her dentures out for crying about it?)

I think she will do fine.

She was tough as nails until it was over and then, when she realized she won, she had doubts....starting with wondering if it might have been someone she knew....that is when she came apart.

It turned out she was 'Justified' and, hopefully, she will just get set on making as good a positive ID as the situation allows without sacrificing her safety.

It was the "So sad" in the title that set me off, I didn't bother with the video.
I'm just sick to death of all this phony touchy feely crap.
So the community is missing a scum bag ? Big deal, Have a nice meal, get drunk, get laid, and generaly celebrate the fact you are still alive.

Gotta be honest, her breaking down into tears sounded to me more like an adrenaline dump, combined with the fear that she might have shot someone she knew.  Both very natural, and in the case of the adrenaline dump, not at all unusual.
I love waking up every morning knowing that Donald Trump is President!!

Better her than her mourners.

Heck, even the morning Boston NBC affiliate reported that she was more than justified in the shoot.

She can get some counseling, hopefully she'll do fine with the right support.

Exactly.  She was hard and strong until the guy hit the floor and it was over....she no doubt felt the rush and exhilaration of having survived a life or death challenge and then had doubt about who she shot and likely felt guilty for being so "up".

Breaking down and crying would not be unusual in that situation for someone who hasn't developed the mindset over time.  She had just recently purchased her guy for protection, so she felt the need.
