ISI, Sig Sauer and Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol
« on: December 16, 2011, 06:03:38 PM »
So, I just saw Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol at a special viewing, last night.  What I found strange was that at the end, in the credits, the film "thanked" Sig Sauer.  I had recognized at least one of the weapons as a Sig handgun during the movie, but, and here's where I'm hoping Michael can help out, if ISI supplies all the guns used in films, why would this film call out on specific manufacturer in the credits?

Or, since this movie was filmed overseas, was ISI not used?

Thanks,
Dave

P.S. Oh, yeah!  The movie was awesome!  Lots of fun.  But, like all of us, Tom is gettin' older. ;)
Regards,
Mr.Anderson

I've been boycotting Cruise movies for a while but I saw the first two (?) so I might spend a buck on this one!

Naw, I'm good.  The guy just irks me and I, along with my wife, can't stand him.  I'm trying to figure out when it happened when he "jumped the shark" for me, I know it was before his jumping on Oprah's couch and after Top Gun.
He who dares wins.  SAS
