JD is working with Remington, it's not about tying up this or that with lawyers,....he'll get royalties from Hornady, Remington, S&W, and when Federal and others jump on the band wagon re: the .300 AAC, he'll get some of that too...

JD's not stupid....don't bite the hands that feed you...

Well, maybe true. He wouldn't win anyhow, what with the Whisper based on the .221 Fireball and the Blackout being based on Remington's .223 and all. Not to mention the whole SAAMI specification for the Blackout and NOT for the Whisper. Like Alexander and the 6.5 Grendel, the Whisper seems to have been passed over and there's another game in town.

Exactly,...why kick a hornet's nest, when your ability to provide factory ammo manufacturers, and re-loaders a safe and reliable cartridge, with the simple changing of a barrel, and keep your rep. and earn an income from multiple sources....

"A Good Thing"....
Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
Col. Jeff Cooper.
