Hello, All.
I joined back in March but have just recently started posting regularly, and just realized I never made any type of introduction. I just jumped in your pool and started swimming.

Well, I live in rural South Georgia where the skeeters can stand flatfooted and kiss a chicken. But, we can still handle them with the scatterguns and have not had to break out the high-powered rifles, yet.
I've been a shooter since I was 14 and like all forms of shooting sports.
I love a good debate, but usually go for the lighter side of things unless seriousness is warranted.
I love a good joke.
I like to pull a cork now and again, but never to excess, and NEVER while handling firearms (they DON'T mix).

I am impressed with the wide range of thoughts and ideas and opinions on this forum.
Y'all give good conversation.
I hope to hang around a while.

Good day to all,
I'm Darrin, I was introduced to drtv by a good friend of mine, (haz) and have of course looked at the site several times before and know that it's full of good people. I live in Peru with my wife (Peruvian) and have been here for almost 4 years. I still get to the States every 3 months as I have to travel for work. I'm an engineer in the merchant marine supplying Av fuel and diesel to the military over in Asia. (our military, of course).
anyway, I'm glad to be associated with a good bunch like yourselves and thanks for letting a trashy sailor like myself in.
