Welcome!
This is kind of like AA only in reverse. Addicted to shooting? Buy another gun. :D There is good advice to be had. Don't let the politics bother you either. Its generally a conservative board, but they put up with me and few others anyway. What matters is that you support the 2a, want to learn, and are willing to teach what you know. That and having a sense of humor, a thick skin, and not being PC will make you family.

Listen to what FQ posted, when things are going to well for him he posts some socialist college BS and we put the world back into perspective for him.  :D

Welcome.    You'll find people of all stripes on this board.  We've got young and old, left and right, and folks in the middle.  The great thing is everybody seems to be pretty open and fair about views (unless you start comparing Glock to Colt or similar foolishness).  While I've been here a relatively short while, I've already managed to ge an apology from FQ13 for an innocuous remark he made about one of my posts--and it wasn't even political.  To me, that was just an indication of how really great this board is.  There is also a great deal of wisdom coming from personal experience available on this board.  Ask about getting a Dodge, Ford or Chevy PU truck and you can get many pages of personal observations--most of them stating the obvious:  Ford is superior.  (I put that in just to start some controversy, no other reason).

Anyway, welcome, and have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
“I’ve lived the literal meaning of the ‘land of the free’ and ‘home of the brave.’ It’s not corny for me. I feel it in my heart. I feel it in my chest. Even at a ball game, when someone talks during the anthem or doesn’t take off his hat, it pisses me off. I’m not one to be quiet about it, either.”  Chris Kyle

Only in FQ's case, the thread holding the sword breaks. Often!     ;D
