Hi, my name is Eric.  I'm in Central Arkansas, north of Little Rock and found out about the forum from the Downrange podcast.  I am on a 60 acre farm and have just begun setting up my range.  I can get about 450 yards from the back yard.  It should be fun!  I'm shooting an AR I built with a Compass Lake barrel and an M1A.  Looking forward to the forum.

Thanks

Welcome aboard, Eric...and Happiness is a 450 yr range in the backyard...

Hello to everyone.

My name is Scott and I live in NC near Raleigh.

I carry an M&P45 and a LCP everyday.  My rifle is an LWRC M6 and my shotgun is a Scattergun Technologies Rem 870.  I would probably be best described as a defensive shooter.  I tend to be interested in those skills which would keep me and my family alive.

I escaped from CA about 15 years ago and haven't looked back since.

I'm new to the whole forum thing.  I'm looking forward to learning what ever I can.

Thank you

Welcoms, NS2.  I made my California escape nearly 30 years ago, myself.  Still have daughter, grandson, and another on the way living SoCal.  Want 'em to leave, but no luck, yet.  I'm somewhat south of you, in Florida.

This is a great place to find out something about nearly anything.  We have a knowledge-base that exeeds what anyone would believe possible. Explore it as you will.  Post about nearly anything.  Most of all, enjoy the many friendships that will grow from the experience.

Hi guys.  I'm in Birmingham, Al.  I was an E.O.D. in the Army for 14 yrs.  I'm trying to get back to shooting and training more.  I have a few Ar's(LWRC M6A2, Colt, etc.)  and carry mainly H&K P2000 (mm with a LEM trigger as well as my H&K 45c set up the same.  I have a few 1911's and always carry my S&W M49(it was my grandfathers bug).
