Nop Clue!

I made a comment that could have been viewed as less than complimentary about that young, beautiful, patient, forgiving lady that keeps an eye on us.

Hello all, my name is Craig from the Hudson Valley region of New York.  I have been a fan of Downrange Radio and just recently switched from horrible cable to satellite and am now 100% a fan of Shooting Gallery as well!  I am a LEO by profession and am interested in becoming involved in USPSA and/or IDPA.  I am looking forward to participating in the lively discussions on this forum.

Hello Red Dawn, and welcome, spent some great summers in Rhinebeck, NY, back in the day.

As a "newer" member to this forum as well, I can honestly say this is one of the tightest groups I've ever been part of.

Anything and everything that is posted will be responded to by someone in a civil, honest and useful way.

This is a truly great bunch of members that all enjoy the same thing, and share their knowledge to those who ask.

And sometimes you can just rant and B****, about something that made you mad, (like waiting for a purchase permit)

With Marshal'ette minding the store, no one dare get too out of hand anyway,. ;)

Stay safe.

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."

Thanks for the warm welcome, twyacht.  I love the Rhinebeck/Northern Dutchess area, it is where I really start to feel like I am "upstate."

I agree with your assessment of this forum.  I spent a lot of time reading them before joining and would definitely agree that the topics are kept professional and relevant (unlike many other firearms forums out there, with the exception of SigForum, which I am also a member of).  I think it's cool that I watch Michael on TV and listen to him on my iPod, and then can participate in discussions with him and some of the other celebs that I recognize as forum members as well.

You can come out of the corner now.. Actually I forgot I put you there..
( maybe it was because even if you were setting in the corner , you were still talking and having a grand ole' time when I wasn't looking.. )   ::)
So you might as well be back in amongst civilization.. ( if that is what you can call this place.. )
;D

Welcome new members..

Thank You   Thank You   Thank You   Thank You   Thank You
At my age and physical condition I thought for a while that I was going to die unforgiven.

I'd promise to never go astray again, but you know better than that.  ;D

Hi, I'm in the Great Northwest(originally from Tulsa) I just registered after having lurked around here for several months. It was actually gunman1911's last post that got me to finally register.

So, as to not distract from Mi-Nimrod's question, I would have to say that I have nothing but love for my XD .45 Compact. It works great with my relatively small hands. The compact grip is a bit small for my more stubby fingered friend, so he prefers to shoot it with the full capacity clips with the extensions. I would recommend feeling one of these to see if it works for your intended purpose.
