Hi, I'm Brent from the Great Northwest(originally Tulsa) I just registered after having lurked around here for several months. It was actually gunman1911's last post that got me to finally register.

So, as to not distract from Mi-Nimrod's question, I would have to say that I have nothing but love for my XD .45 Compact. It works great with my relatively small hands. The compact grip is a bit small for my more stubby fingered friend, so he prefers to shoot it with the full capacity clips with the extensions. I would recommend feeling one of these to see if it works for your intended purpose.

Welcome to this great place to have great discussions with all. Glad you joined and you will not be sorry you did. By the way good call on the write up of the XD.

Hello, and welcome, I am proud to say that I joined this forum to learn and share my passion for firearms. I have not been disappointed, due to the honesty and knowledge available here. Plus, the humor and sincerity means alot.

I feel like I am sitting around the table enjoying the company of those who enjoy firearms of all types, as much as I do.

Now with the sappy stuff out of the way, I'm going to go back and shred cinder blocks and metal plates. 8)

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."

Welcome Mutt, what kind of leather work do you do? I have not been active for a long time, but still have all my stuff and a good quantity of heavy leather. I'm in Texas too, way up Dallas.

Welcome Magpul, you guys are making some very cool stuff, and some cool videos.
