New Member Intro

Last year I bought 10 pounds of Vidalia onions and made onion sandwiches out of most of them. Just bread, mayo, and a thick slice of onion. 

I had to use one in potato salad for a cookout yesterday, but the other is going into sandwiches 

I go through at least five pounds weekly when there in season.  I don't buy anything but Vidalias this time of year...they keep really well too.  Wrap them in paper towel and keep em in the refer, they will hold for a couple of weeks.  Most don't last more than a few days though......they get eaten.....

Remind me if we ever meet in person to stand back a few 100 ft when you say, "hhhhHI". My eyes are already watering.

The beer battered rings sound dang good right now. There is a catfish place not far from me that make some of the best onion rings. I'm not much of an onion eater, but I'll tear those things up with some ketchup and Louisiana hot sauce.

Guess I am new; just started posting recently anyway. Thanks to the 3 M's, Pincus and Janich (and all else responsible) for making this site into something great. I am relatively new to hunting, plinking, concealed carry and all things tacticool (last 5 years or so) and feel like I have gained so much from DRTV. Just found this site today. It's really great. You have a lot of very knowledgable members and I hope to pick up a bunch of good info.
