Not really, those things have a tendency to progress, first breaking into unoccupied buildings, then occupied buildings.
The home owner killed this thief before he progressed to the "thrill killing" stage.
He may have saved the lives of an entire family.

I agree the kid needed to be stopped...and this was the most likely way...the normal ones had failed by this point.

But I still regret the loss.

Sucks that a kid is dead but I am sure he knew right from wrong and made a decision with his friends that cost him in the end.

Not sure how many of you have dealt with 14 year olds lately but some of them are absolutely brutal and nihilistic little savages. Especially the wannabe gangbangers.
