Let's Start With Alcohol

I came across this site on death rates in the world by specific causes. It starts with my second favorite subject, after Guns that is. Alcohol! By the the looks of it alcohol is a lot less dangerous than breathing so,

The top 5 are all central American countries, that distill pig and farm urine with little or no regulation,..so that makes sense...

Russia was 35th? I would have expected more, Norway is about where I expect it....

The French...Well,...their French and drink "almost" the same swill as Central America....better cheese though...

At least we beat Somalia, and other Islamic countries, as alcohol is harder to acquire. But I defer to my Central American reference. ;)

technically, most Russians die not from the alcohol, but from freezing to death when they pass out on the way home... Damn!
so how do rate that death? make it home and it won't kill ya.

The leading cause of death is birth.
It has a 100% mortality rate rate.
Any one who has ever been born either has, or will, die from it.
