Saw a thread recently that had the .50 Beowulf upper go right on an AR lower, with 10 round mag.
Also there's the 50 BMG by Bohica, that will be the top of that envelope. But it becomes a bolt action.
Several out there, comes down to preference.

Sorry took so long to respond, computer went.
Ok to answer the question about mags,
There are some out there that sell specific mags for 7.62X39 but you can usually use the AR 20 round mag and it should work fine just not as many rounds can fit.
