First couple times through I saw long thick and shiny.

Not that it matters, but I read a story where the headline IDed the old man as a 71 year old, but, in the text, it was said he was a 63 year old.  Either way, he knew what he had to do.

It's not 5th A, it's lawyers.
There is no longer any such thing as "caught in the act", You can be shot while gunning down unarmed victims in a room full of witnesses with the gun in your hand yelling Allah Akbar, while wearing an Army uniform and you are still not a treasonous murderer until a Judge says so.

Yes, it's lawyers properly or improperly using the 5th, 6th and 8th Amendments...we don't have to like it every time!  Everyone, who's a citizen of the United States of America, cannot be held for crimes unless by Grand Jury, have the right to a speedy trial and cannot be held with excessive bail!

Roberts has nothing to do with it.
DOJ, not the defense, has delayed the Ft. Hood trial nearly 3 years, that's not very speedy, in fact, it may be grounds to throw the case out and let the traitor walk for multiple murders.
Zimmerman got whacked with $1million bail for a self defense shooting, sounds pretty excessive to me, just because the liberal judge is opposed to "stand your ground".
