Tom,

I do not believe that you just give in because you can not win.  Romney could have vetoed and let them push it through.

Would G.W. Bush have changed had the Bill actually reached his desk?  We don't know, and we will never know because it didn't happen.  However, we do have a picture of what Gov. Romney's view and stance was when last in a position of power and able to make a difference.

Am I going to vote for Obama or some spoiler over this?  No!  However, I intend to make sure he understands where I stand.

Think of it like a delayed auction, you have X amount you can spend but you won't know if you got the item for a week.
Do you bid on something you know you won't win and tie up money you could have used for something else ?
Besides, If he had forced them to over turn a veto the bill they put through would have removed the good things he got in.

What you are saying proves you do not know what you are talking about.
Ask Timothy about it, he was there.

Read it for yourself!  Since, he has made statements that he'd support an assault weapons ban.  Then it would depend on what are considered assault weapons!  Full auto?  Belt fed?  etc...

I'm not thrilled with Willard either as president but he ain't Obama or Clinton or Kerry or Gore or Edwards or any form of democrat that is alive or dead!
