The Ryan/Biden debate(s) will be great to watch,..... 8)

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
Col. Jeff Cooper.

On an unrelated note:  A good friend of mine from college has become a huge Obama supporter.  I feel so betrayed.

I feel your pain...

My own dear sister succumbed to 25-years of Education Association brainwashing and supports Odamna, too.  Worse than that, she lives in Mesa, AZ and actively works against Sheriff Joe.

Imagine my shame...

“I’ve lived the literal meaning of the ‘land of the free’ and ‘home of the brave.’ It’s not corny for me. I feel it in my heart. I feel it in my chest. Even at a ball game, when someone talks during the anthem or doesn’t take off his hat, it pisses me off. I’m not one to be quiet about it, either.”  Chris Kyle

No.  I was referring to the idiots on TV.

I can't believe you would actually admit that in public.
You might as well claim to be descendant of Benedict Arnold.

True, but you don't have to acknowledge them.  ;D

About a month ago, I ran into a cousin that I hadn't seen in nearly 30 years. Because I can't resist doing it, I asked his opinion of the Presidential situation, last time and this.. He said that last time he "voted for McCain and the beauty queen", but couldn't remember her name. And that this time he would probably vote for Obama..... I was almost speechless.. I wanted to yell at him but I didn't know what I might actually say..
He said that he didn't see anything that he could support in Romney..
The guy has hunted ALL HIS LIFE, works hard every day, married to the same woman for as long as he's been married, kids...
HOWEVER.. From the time he was a kid, he wanted to work for Goodyear. (Most of the men in the family did.) That made him a "Union Man".. He smokes pot, still, I guess.. His mother is as mean as cat crap, sho nuff. (Almost all the women in the family are.)
I don't know exactly what happened in his mind.. He has always been a simple soul, (kindly put). Really nice..
I've dropped a few bombs on him on FB over the last year since I found him on there. Mostly Union related stuff..
He's not one who changes his mind by virtue of anything anybody else says, except for his wife and perhaps his parents.. If I knew what to do to change his mine, I surely would..

It doesn't make sense... Most of the family, at least the mean women and husbands who just don't want to deal with it have voted Dixiecrap for as long as I've been aware..
It's just as well I left these parts when I was young.. I managed whatever infection I had early on.. Thank God!!
With friends like these, who needs hallucinations!..
