Forgive the double dip but..
« on: August 27, 2012, 04:18:10 PM »
Pray for rain with me, please.
He's given us and Texas rain before we dried slap up but the nation is already suffering from lack of rain (and restoration in Him) and on paper, it's already hurting us bad.. We're apt to run out of food for those guys putting corn squeezings in the gas tank..
That hurricane can be a blessing for us. The Mississippi is drying up too. The crop's shot for this season but I've seen miracles more often than "No's".

Thank you..

(And, Lord, please heal our land, and live in it and reign again.. )
With friends like these, who needs hallucinations!..

Your request has already been covered.  However, it will get more coverage with your request.

Rest assured that He knows your needs and you will not go without!

Matthew 6:25-27

Do Not Worry

25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life[a]?

Don't know how much TX will receive, but Issac is a big system....I pray some makes it to those that need it, and safety for those that will get too much.

I have had over a foot of rain in two days here in S. Florida. I want it to dry the heck out....
Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."

Santa, I echo your prayer for the Lord to heal our land and turn our hearts back to Him.  And if He could bless our mid-west with some rain I know a lot of my relatives will drop to their knees in grateful thanksgiving.

Here is a verse from the end of a hunting show the other day.  It has stuck in my mind, and is perfect for this need:

Quote
2 Chronicles 7:13-15

New International Version (NIV)

13 “When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among my people, 14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 15 Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place.
If I appear taller than other men it is because I am standing on the shoulders of others.
