That flag did more about it than BO did..  :(
I think toxic flags should be standard issue for the Diplomatic Corps in that area of the world..
Kinda like a poisonous snake.. Just don't touch it. Leave it alone and you'll fare better..
With friends like these, who needs hallucinations!..

Wasn't intended to be "toxic."  The flag was Made in China out of arsenic, lead, and carcinogenic isolates.

But you're right, Santahog, they should be standard issue.

“I’ve lived the literal meaning of the ‘land of the free’ and ‘home of the brave.’ It’s not corny for me. I feel it in my heart. I feel it in my chest. Even at a ball game, when someone talks during the anthem or doesn’t take off his hat, it pisses me off. I’m not one to be quiet about it, either.”  Chris Kyle

In the early days of flag burnin', when flags were made in the good ole U.S. of A., they never had this problem.  Maybe outsourcing isn't such a bad thing after all.

I forsee a new gub'mint commission looking into safe flag burning practices and materials, complete with pamphlets and awareness campaign.
Bravery and stupidity are often synonymous.  So are cowardice and intelligence.

"We Americans have been a rebellious band of freedom loving vagabonds from the very beginning. Our freedom from the crown and tyranny would not exist had it not been for the gun. That's a tradition we like to hold on to.  The same can't be said for the rest of you 'Subjects of the Queen'."--said to a Canadian friend who just doesn't get it.

We not only have to make our flags so that burners die from burning it, but also that rippers die from ripping it. Then my company can make the gloves that allow our people to handle it without harm. Then, of course, my company can make the gloves for export, but those won't protect anyone they'll actually start the flag fire on contact! Hell, why not make a little profit for ourselves while we are at it?

When it comes time to retire the flag, toxic smoke would be a bad thing.
I always break all the clay pigeons,  some times its even with lead.

If its a "weaponized" flag I think you can just throw it away. Either that or donate it to Iranian Embassy. ;D
