Is there a duress alarm that transmits a signal to some state department or CIA command post should a consulate come under attack?

Regardless, the POS of the US dropped the ball.

There were aircraft fueled and ready to go in Sicily, 480 miles away.  Could have been there doing strafing runs in an hour or less.  Three of the four Americans that died survived for six hours before they were killed.  It's criminal that no one picked up the fuggin Bat Phone and said the words "Lets Roll!"...
