Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery
« on: April 25, 2008, 09:29:58 PM »
The other show on the outdoor channel that shall not be named :-X, actually did a show on one subject from beginning to end :o, with a follow up on the guns of said show.. I think pompadour hair is watching his competition and learning. I don't think Michael has anything to worry about, but the competition has taken notice, I think. It did make for a better show than  normal. I wish Shooting Gallery could have 3 related shows, Shooting Gallery, At the range with Shooting Gallery,, and maybe one on one with  Michael Bane ;D, something to that effect, I know Michael has so much spare time, but!!!

I thought Cowboys was an offshoot of Shooting Galley.

The show that will not be named, wouldn't happen to rhyme with pooting few essay?

I think it's shoe tin you has hay!
Anyway, the last time I looked, the sixty year old guy with the twenty year old hair was selling silencers.  Actually, they were automotive exhaust mufflers, but that's close enough to a firearm for that show.

Yeah you busted me. And yes cowboys is connected with SG. However I think my point is one, they are watching and listening, and two, the other show and it's counterparts, get more air time. Maybe just an hour long SG would be great.

Jeez! What ever happened to Ronald Reagan's great dictum "Thou shalt not speak ill of another RKBAian. I like ALL Outdoor shows.

I am SO glad to have lived to a time when there are actually places I can go to watch all hunting, all shooting all the time. (Fishing, okay, maybe not so much)

If youse guys are talking about who I think you are talking about, knock it off, he is a good guy and has much to contribute.

I even had mixed feelings about L' Affair Zumbo, though I still think Ted Nugent could have left well enough alone.

I have to disagree about Ted Nugent. What he did to Zumbo, making him TRY an AR, is the same thing My ex and I did with our Son about Brussel sprouts, Try it before you tell me you don't like it.
It's pretty similar to the attitude we take to posts on this net, and conversations in general, If a person doesnt know what he's talking about we say so and educate them. The fact that it was a PINK AR serves 2 purposes, 1) makes for a better story, 2) gives Zumbo deniability, He can still say he has never used an "Evil BLACK Rifle".  ;D  Do you think it was MORE appropriate that he lost his livily hood because he said something dumb once ?

The man with the hour is always trying to sell a gun and he sounds like a used car salesman. Come on down to Billy Bob's gun emporium and get the new whiz bang ! Its only an arm and a leg ! The Misses will never miss it! ;D
Back up guns---Better to have and not need than to need and not have!
