Michael said in his podcast that some anti-gunners would love it if one or more vocal gun enthusiasts were killed for their beliefs.

Well it happened.

Is this the start or a single incident?

I would caution against the obvious connection between the anti-gun calls for the deaths of Pro-2A people and this unfortunate incident if only to keep our powder dry until they start dancing in his blood or the perp/motive is identified.  For all we know it could be totally unrelated to his 2A beliefs.

That being said, IF this is in anyway a result of the vile comments from the ID10TS on the other side a series of wood splitting accidents across the country involving those vile spewing @)#%)_# s would be rather unfortunate.

Good advise.  I won't judge until all the facts are in.  The timing of it is curious though.

Speaking of YouTube, is anyone else really POed at the constant "Demand A Plan" ads showing up on just about every gun related video?  Looks like the NRA needs to buy a huge block of ads for all the NPR related videos.

Search for " Demand a Plan Celebrities can f**k themselves" it is a reply using clips from "demand a plan" and scenes from the celebrities action movies to illustrate what hypocrites they are.

Arizona sheriff Larry Dever was also killed in a single car accident...IIRC, up in the mountains.  He was one of four sheriffs representing the 4 border counties who were vocal against the Obama's administration's apathy towards the illegal alien problem:
