Did he really use an AR at Sanday Hook?
« on: January 14, 2013, 09:28:21 AM »
I saw this on a FB page.   I noticed this report was posted on 1/2.   I remember hearing that he left the AR in the car, but used handguns.   Now they are saying it was used, etc.   But this media report says it was left in the car.  Do we know for sure what the hell was used???

That may have been posted on the 2nd, but the report mentions "Just last week on the 12th..." so I'd bet it was an old report someone is reposting.  IIRC it was after the 2nd that the Medical Examiner released thier report that there were wounds consistant with a 223 rifle in all victims.

The world may never know ??? Personally I believe that the news media and other anti's are going to stick with the "Assault weapon" it fits their gun ban agenda and that is that. My blood boils when the uninformed media, public & politicians throw that term around.
“As democracy is perfected, the office of the President represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people.  On some great and glorious day, the plain folks of the land will reach their heart’s desire at last, and the White House will be occupied by a downright fool and a complete narcissistic moron.”  H.L. Mencken, The Baltimore Evening Sun,  July 26, 1920.

I only found one news source that identified the trunk gun as a Saiga shotgun.

My guess is the media hasn't harped on that because the word "shotgun" would perk up the Fudds's ears.  The Obama administration and the media want to keep the Fudds apathetic and on the sidelines.

Supposedly, Adam Lanza was dropping mags left and right before any of the mags ran dry.

He was also wearing ear plugs.

Another thing I find odd was that the black Honda was towed away in the rain, that it wasn't towed to a police garage on Friday night.  As far as I know, fingerprints are severely degraded when exposed to moisture.  I didn't see any fingerprint powder or dust on the outside of the car.  So at the least, it is shoddy police work.

I know it wasn't an AR in the trunk, video showed large red rounds being cleared from what appeared to be a side charged carbine,.

I don't even think anyone there will be able to tell you the whole story, unless they were PHYSICALLY there at the time.  I'd consider an FOIA reuqest to the Medical Examiners office and Sheriffs Dept a good start.

The search warrants/records have been sealed for 90 days:

Which is probably why Biden was quoted as to the effect of " we have a very tight window to get this done."

If my info about Lanza dropping mags willy nilly not using the full 30 rounds in each mag is correct and makes it out in the public domain, then that lets all the wind out of the anti's sails with regards to a hi-cap magazine ban.  EDIT:  in less than 90 days, that tidbit if info becomes official and released to the public.

I don't really care about the "whole story".

This part has me puzzled.  Why?  It's not like there is or ever will be a court case.  The perp is dead.

What exactly are they investigating?  A second suspect?  No the article says unlikely.  LEOs have all the evidence, so it's not like somebody could destroy it or contaminate the crime scene.

And I doubt if the MSM, who favors more gun control is going to contest this, as it might weaken the gun control efforts.
