I requested to be deleted from the CTD mailing list.

I told them why, politely.

They sent me another email.

I emailed back, a little less politely.

I think I am off their list, now.

I can take only about 15 minutes of Beck at one time.  But if he can take CTD money, cool.

I thought about that too.. I don't mind if he takes their money. It just makes me wonder if he knows what they're about..
Beck would be alot easier to tolerate if he's just stop trying to be entertaining.. I've listened to him of and on for about 10 years now, and I've listened to him "grow up" so to speak.. The first stretch I listened, he was just plain idiot.. The second stretch, we was showing flashes of outrage at the things we all likely already knew a long time before that. (Can't fault the guy for waking up..) The next time, he was like a baby Pentecostal, screaming at everything wrong. He wasn't a Mormon at that point. I think he was being Baptist. (I'm a Baptist, if I have to confess to a denomination) He was just starting the stupid Football Friday thing, which I could not bear. I still can't. Then he showed up on television and I figured they had their replacement for Alan Keyes. I watched it a little, but not enough to matter.. Then he showed up on Fox so I started listening to the radio show again. He had thankfully dumped the Football thing. He had taken on the board of the NRA as a new calling and that gets you alot with me..
Now he's back on the stupid pet tricks on Friday again and IF HE'D JUST STOP TRYING TO BE FUNNY, HE'D BE ALRIGHT!!!
Vent.. Vent..
Beck has the right information.. He's mad at all the right things. If he could just shut up about the other stuff long enough to talk about them, he'd be just fine.
He's just not as funny as he thinks he is..
He drives me nuts..

I stayed on their mailing list because they have to spend money to send me stuff and it costs me nothing to dump it in the trash when it gets here!

I don't boycott many folks. I mean there are a whole lot of companies that support causes I disagree with, and I don't want my shopping list to be ordered by degrees of PC. Its just not worth the hassle. But CTD? When they jack the price of a Pmag to $70 after Sandy Hook? Screw them. I will never buy anything from those jackals again. They aren't just supporting a bad cause, they are stabbing a brother in the back for money. I will have no truck with them, even if the mags that were going for $15 came back down to a reasonable price. They are willing to profiteer on panic and take advantage of their customers. Screw them.

I'm the same on both issues. Beck has become too over emotional and repetitious for me. He drones on far too long about selected topics. He was really good when he first came to Fox from CNN. But then he became way too melodramatic. That along with what basically amounted to his lecturing for an hour each day, complete with blackboards. I felt like I was back in school for Christ's sake. Fox wanted him to change the format of the show, which he should have done. It would have increased his viewership without making him look like a crackpot. He refused, and now I don't see much of him, except for clips like the one provided here.

I have been receiving new mag's from Midway every week at the same low price that I ordered them at. (All of them were back ordered).
Another company may have canceled the back-orders and sold them for more money. Not Midway, Great company.

Don't dump all of it in the trash.   Many times they send you a prepaid envelope for your reply.  Cut up all they send, put it all in the prepaid envelope and send it off to them.  They are not charged for the postage on the prepaid until it is used...or so I heard..    Leave your address out of the package you send back unless you don't want to be sending any more of them.
